"Our Goal is to help you see the storm coming before the clouds form"
“We use applied Education, Innovation and Collaboration strategies to help managers think, act and make decisions more effectively every day. Bringing transparency to the forefront."
Who We Are ALEA is a consortium of management theorists, academics and senior practitioners who focus on leadership through new value models for modern day corporate management. We are thought leaders, who work at the nexus of corporate leadership and search for ways to better lead, manage and guide those who work day by day with their coworkers. The Institute was founded in 1996 as the C-bridge Institute. Located in the center of the M.I.T. campus on Vassar Street in Cambridge, MA. In 2002, members of the C-bridge Institute transformed the organization into ALEA to reflect our new direction and core competencies.
What We Do We guide and educate organizations in ways to identify and develop new models and methods of leadership -- especially middle management leadership models. As part of our approach, we design the new "quiet leadership" models that support middle managers so well. We help companies grow, expand their markets, retain their customers and improve their operations.
The critical work of implementing governance strategies, pandemic planning, operational improvement, security and access control management, identity management, fraud prevention, crisis management, program office and improving product development all fall into the hands of line managers and those known as "middle managers". To this end, we create "middle management leadership centers" in large corporate environments by designing the underlying processes which empower those centers, coach leadership, educate staffing and provide the management tools necessary to ensure the investment value of this work. The core of our work centers on our collaboration with Dr. Joseph Badaracco, PhD of Harvard University, Dr. Eli Goldratt PhD and Dr. Donn Novotny and their publications and research in corporate ethics, process improvement and leadership models.
We Perform & Develop Effective Fraud Examinations and Due Diligence studies
The critical work of fraud examination and corporate/business due diligence is at the forefront of the market place in today's current environment. We develop Fraud prevention strategies, perform fraud examinations and investigations, and perform anti-fraud strategic planning, fraud investigations and anti-fraud operational improvement.
We work with our clients to provide due diligence and background intelligence on investment opportunities, partnerships. Acquisitions, mergers, strategic relationships and strategic marketing joint ventures.
We assist clients with understanding the “good, the bad and the ugly” of all situations they may be facing in their business, investment and marketing relationships.
We Develop Effective Middle Management Leaders Effective leaders play an active role in the continuity and growth of any organization. They provide the operational principles of everyday life in business that shape the development of corporate operating platforms, defining business aspirations at the highest levels and describing overarching methods. The Quiet leader frames the challenge and is committed to business innovation. The Quiet leader determines what it takes to succeed and establishes the preconditions for success through quiet leadership practices.
With the formation of "quiet leadership centers" in your organization your management teams will be able to address the limits and frustration of internal growth by middle managers. Because existing business units are designed to optimize existing markets, optimize the work environment, they present hurdles to any effort to exploit leadership alternatives. Our methodology creates practical new paradigms to provide top line leadership growth in middle management environments, deploying new understandings of leadership and methodologies based on academic research that is being conducted on a daily basis.
We provide ongoing continuing education for managers through on line courses and programs offered in a 7 X 27 model which are tailored to the appropriate audience so managers know what they are receiving is current and focused on their task at hand.
